Last week, outdoor cat SONNY was found to have half a dozen, just on his neck. I removed them all same day, medicine lasts a month. Every spring and summer around here, I dose the feral cats with medicine to keep them tick free. As a public service. And now, to save their lives. No other neighbor around me does this or these kitties would be tick free.
