Project Matador is a massive, $500 billion private energy and AI data center campus being developed by Fermi America LLC in Carson County, Texas, near Amarillo. Aiming for up to 17 GW of capacity—including nuclear (AP1000), natural gas, and solar—it intends to be the world's largest private "HyperGrid," powering 18M sq ft of demonAI data centers.
