while travelling on course, they made a last minute hard right turn, the motor RPM whent through the roof (see black smoke) then lost, regained and lost power again.

then it regains power, full throttle right turn
then when its in line with column, it loses power once again.

A ship that long would have the water act like a bowling ball gutter keeping you going straight. The rudder can turn you a few degrees over miles. They have the bow thrusters for docking and tight turning. The only way to make that sharp a turn is full rudder and full power. You have the 53,000hp to a propeller thrusting into the rudder which would create a directional force and turn the ship hard to starboard as we saw. Even turning the rudder and no power would not bring a ship that large around that fast. The rudder would plow through the water creating a small turning force. This is two separate events causing a crash and not a single system failure. It has to be deliberate.
