Just got the electric bill. $707 for four weeks of
- 2 space heaters set on low wattage (700 watts, not 1500), average daily house temp indoors is 65/66 degrees.
- 1 refrigerator
- 1 computer
2 years ago, in Ojai, I ran the whole house, with lights on, fridge, 2 space heaters plus house furnace for about 150.00 a month. Last year, doing the above, it only cost me 350 a month. Now, its double that plus.
And I cannot cut it down any further, because the interior would simply ice over and Gracie and TInk would freeze to death.
Plus, a 400 dollar a month propane bill. Which I can only use for ten minutes every 3 hours, to keep the house temps above 62.
When the system wants to hurt you, they start with the money, keep you down and out and very poor.
