I still can’t get over the fact that there were fully 248,000 government schools in 1948 [U.S. Census 122,775,046] but merely 98,000 government schools in 2014 [U.S. Census 318,857,056].


That is the moast shocking, stunning, gut-wrenching statistic that I’ve seen in the last decade.
