La Palma Update

 Lots of EQs over the weekend in the low 5s. The BIG caldera to the north is now having landslides.

Pompeii comes to mind

 

New. No growth in the collapsed area. On the western ridge.

 

LaPalma: There was a huge explosion and all the local live streams quit.

Here's what's weird. If you go find a livestream that actually works, it's night, the usual red and black scene before you, then it happened. Kept happening.

I let it play for an hour.

It's a barking dog. It's the exact same bark every 15 or so minutes. The exact same bark. there is a quick abrupt cut at the scene-very fast-and the loop starts over. Then the dog again, exact same bark.

They'll probably change the loop, now that they've been caught looping a tape and presenting it as live.
