Washington — President Biden announced Thursday that for the next six months, the federal government will pay for 100% of the disaster response costs from the wildfires destroying neighborhoods across the greater Los Angeles area. The president also said he'll be asking Congress for more funding to help.
Ten bucks says that somehow, for the tribe in Pacific Palisades and Malibu, this will cover the loss of these homes cost, where fire insurance was cancelled. But will you hear about it? Not likely.

The Santa Monica Observer is reporting that 60 Oregon fire trucks sent to assist California firefighting is lacking “smog certification”. The fire trucks are being held in Sacramento for emissions testing.”
