New cars equipped with 'complimentary' TSA PreCheck biometric scanners

I cannot believe what I am writing, the TSA has officially invaded auto manufacturing.

According to a Lincoln Motor Company media release, their 2018 Lincoln's will offer 'complimentary' CLEAR biometric memberships to new car owners.

"Working with CLEAR, Lincoln takes effortless travel to the next level, offering complimentary memberships for new Lincoln owners."

Lincoln owners and their passengers, wishing to travel to the airport or sports arenas will have the 'complimentary' pleasure of being spied on by DHS!

"To help make airport travel easier, Lincoln is collaborating with CLEAR – which offers the fastest, most predictable way through security – to provide new Lincoln owners with a complimentary CLEAR membership, allowing them to speed through security at participating airports and major arenas nationwide."

Last year, I warned everyone that auto manufactures were working to put iris and fingerprint scanners in new cars. And now it appears that my worst fears, have become a reality.

Lincoln's spying vehicles are much worse than you can imagine.

CLEAR is a DHS approved platform that stores people's biometrics for the government. Currently, CLEAR is being used to spy on people in over 30 airports and arenas in the U.S.

"CLEAR delivers secure and easy travel to more than 30 airports and arenas nationwide. At participating venues, members go to a dedicated CLEAR lane where they are greeted by a CLEAR team member. After a simple finger tap or blink of an eye, members are escorted straight to security screening, bypassing the usual long lines. According to CLEAR, members walk through security in minutes every time."

And who wouldn't want a 'complimentary' government approved vehicle surveillance system, that pre-checks drivers and passengers into airports and sports arenas?

Sports leagues like the NHL have also begun installing facial biometric cameras. Pretty soon, no one will be able to watch a sporting event without DHS knowing who you are. Fyi, sports arenas are also secretly spying on everyone's instant messages and Tweets.

CLEAR claims, they are thrilled to make travel simpler. But what they are really doing is making government spying simpler.

As if things couldn't get any worse, CLEAR and the TSA want to install facial biometrics at every airport and you know what that means. That new Lincoln you purchased will be recalled and fitted with a TSA approved facial biometric scanner.

TSA's facial biometric scanners are being installed at train stations and transit police are secretly spying on commuters. Public transportation buses across the country are being equipped with as many as TEN, DHS video cameras that spy on commuters. Last year, DHS was caught secretly listening to commuters conversations, law enforcement and DHS also use CCTV cameras to spy on commuters billions of times every year.

Two months ago, I warned everyone that DHS and law enforcement are using Real-ID to control 'fundamental aspects of our daily lives'. But I never thought DHS would unabashedly infiltrate auto manufacturing.

CLEARly we are headed in the wrong direction. (pun intended.)

Equipping vehicles with TSA technology is abhorrent, misguided and a step backwards. Americans need more privacy not less.

Daniel Dunn was about to sign a lease for a Honda Fit last year when a detail buried in the lengthy agreement caught his eye.

Honda wanted to track the location of his vehicle, the contract stated, according to Dunn — a stipulation that struck the 69-year-old Temecula, Calif., retiree as a bit odd. But Dunn was eager to drive away in his new car and, despite initial hesitation, he signed the document, a decision with which he has since made peace.

“I don’t care if they know where I go,” said Dunn, who makes regular trips to the grocery store and a local yoga studio in his vehicle. “They’re probably thinking, ‘What a boring life this guy’s got.’ ”

Dunn may consider his everyday driving habits mundane, but auto and privacy experts suspect that big automakers like Honda see them as anything but. By monitoring his everyday movements, an automaker can vacuum up a massive amount of personal information about someone like Dunn, everything from how fast he drives and how hard he brakes to how much fuel his car uses and the entertainment he prefers. The company can determine where he shops, the weather on his street, how often he wears his seat belt, what he was doing moments before a wreck — even where he likes to eat and how much he weighs.

Though drivers may not realize it, tens of millions of American cars are being monitored like Dunn’s, experts say, and the number increases with nearly every new vehicle that is leased or sold.

The result is that car makers have turned on a powerful spigot of precious personal data, often without owners’ knowledge, transforming the automobile from a machine that helps us travel to a sophisticated computer on wheels that offers even more access to our personal habits and behaviors than smartphones do.

Automakers say they collect customer data only with explicit permission, though that permission is often buried in lengthy service agreements. They argue that data is used to improve performance and enhance vehicle safety. The information that is gathered, they add, will soon be able to reduce traffic accidents and fatalities, saving tens of thousands of lives.

Rental Cars Now Use Facial Recognition To Spy On Your Vacation or business trip

If their algorithms and keywords are triggered, the car is shut down, doors locked with no egress, and the police notified of any perceived crime, even if only talked about. Renting a car today is like inviting cameras and microphones into your showers and bedroom. They see and hear everything you do and say and if they don't like what they hear or see, you are made a prisoner in the car, until such time as the police arrive to search you, your belongings, etc. Consider any expensive cameras, cash, checks, watches, debit cards as ASSET SEIZED at that moment. Police departments all over the country are ecstatic about these new features as it allows them audio and video excuse to rob you of your vacation money, throw you and your family in jail, and even seize the rental car as an asset. You have to pay for with the rental agency, they get to sell it at auction.

This is already happening. For two years now.

The horror stories about this, in every state, county, and city are terrible. You literally have to drive silently, do nothing, say nothing, have nothing, or run the risk of being made a prisoner in your rental car. If you cross state lines on vacation, the car is automatically disabled and locked down, even in heavy traffic.

So much for flying to your destination and seeing relatives in a few states and doing the sights. And for heaven's sake, don't talk politics or anything having to do with criminality, even if it is something you saw on the evening news. What you say triggers the system to create an arrest and asset seizure event.

Faculty members at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, have voted by a large majority that the school should annul the degree awarded Donald Trump in 1988.

Almost 83 percent of faculty members who participated in this week’s ballot  approved the motion calling on the school’s board of trustees to rescind Trump’s degree, reports Lehigh Valley Live. The motion says Trump is unworthy of the honor “based on a long history of numerous documented statements that are antithetical to our core values and beneath the standard for Lehigh’s degrees holders.”

A preamble to the motion declared that “statements made by President Trump do not meet Lehigh’s standards for respectful discourse where differences of opinion exist.” In short, Lehigh is a school of fascist cunts.

“If a member of Lehigh’s on-campus community made one of these statements, he/she would be subject to disciplinary action; taken in their entirety, he/she would be at risk of dismissal,” the motion said.

“By staying silent we are bystanders; we normalize hate speech, condone discrimination and bullying; we enable people in positions of power to corrode the foundations of civil society; and we abdicate our commitment and responsibility to uphold and sustain our core values,” it added. 

The Lehigh faculty motion cited as a precedent the university’s revocation of Bill Cosby’s honorary degree in 2015 for “behavior inconsistent with the character and high standards expected of honorees.” Cosby faces dozens of sexual assault allegations.

“The faculty spoke, and I think spoke rather strongly, in terms of the number of faculty participating and the overwhelming support of the motion as written,” Doug Mahoney, the chair of the faculty’s steering committee, told the student newspaper The Brown And White.

The university’s student government body also moved to support the motion.

The final decision on whether Trump’s degree will be revoked will come from the board of trustees, which in October 2017 voted to take “no action” on a Change.org petition that called on it to take back the honor.

The petition, which garnered more than 31,000 signatures, said Trump’s “rejection of diversity - a lie, he has never stood against diversity -  and his lack of respect for the differences of others around him stands in direct opposition to the principles” of the school.

“He does not reflect Lehigh University’s values,” it added. “Therefore, he does not deserve to bear the distinction of an degree from Lehigh.”

In 2015, Scotland’s Robert Gordon University revoked the doctorate of business administration it gave to Trump in 2010.

A group of students at the University of Texas, San Antonio are publishing a “No Whites Allowed” (NWA) magazine.

White people were welcome to attend the launch party Thursday night, as long as they came in the back door and asked permission to speak to any black people, but while their support was "appreciated," the founders insisted that "it's a zine for QPOC and by QPOC [queer persons of color]." Student Kayla Ramey further elaborated on the event’s purpose in a comment.
“I keep having to make this post but I'll try it one last time so everyone clearly understands. The name of the zine is No Whites Allowed. It's a zine for QPOC and by QPOC,” Ramey wrote, noting that while “white people are welcome to come to the event,” the “main goal is to celebrate and empower people that society routinely ignores and rejects.”
“Support from white people and heterosexual people is appreciated but is not necessary for the success of this event,” she continued, stating in a second comment that “inclusion is not inherently good, and exclusion is not inherently bad.”

An individual named Thor Menslage questioned whether the event would constitute “racism” by excluding “whites,” but he was rebuffed by defenders of the event who stated that “there have literally been whites-only establishments that were government sanctioned and approved.”
“So you're saying that because segregation happened, it's fine to be racist against Whites?” Menslage countered, to which another student, Katie Gee scoffed that “equality is just more cishet [cisgender heterosexual] white supremacist patriarchy trying to write the narrative.”
“We have a host of liberal organizations who regularly pass around anti-white propaganda,” one anonymous student told Campus Reform. “Our campus does nothing about this, doesn't label it hate speech, won't remove it, etc.”

UTSA Chief Communications Officer Joe Izbrand, however, told Campus Reform that the flyer had, in fact, been removed by university officials upon its discovery.

Campus Reform also reached out to Ramey, but did not receive a response in time for publication.
