Seattle "Autonomous Zone" Now Has A "Heavily-Armed" Warlord

People with guns are checking the identification of individuals trying to enter an area in Seattle run by far-left activists and groups like Antifa, the Seattle Police Department said.

“We have been hearing from community members that they have been subjected to barricades set up by the protesters, with some armed individuals running them as checkpoints into the neighborhood,” Assistant Chief Deanna Nollette told reporters on Wednesday.

“While they have a constitutionally protected right to bear arms, and while Washington is an open carry state, there is no legal right for those arms to be used to intimidate community members,” she added.

Businesses and citizens being asked to pay a fee to operate in the area, which is known as the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone and includes about 500 houses. That would be the crime of extortion, Nollette said.

Antifa now seeking armed volunteers to hold the autonomous region, to take the heat of themselves when someone inevitably gets killed by joggers.

Soundcloud rapper Raz Simone and his entourage have claimed the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) as their territory - and have already been filmed regulating when a man wouldn't stop spraying graffiti over an urban art installation, telling him "We are the police of this community now!"





Meanwhile, homeless people who were invited to CHAZ stole all of their food. Antifa are calling for vegan supplies...

Sadly, Gov. Jay Inslee (D) has no clue about the autonomous zone whatsoever.

So, the governor of Washington doesn't know that a six-block area, in the largest city in his state, was seized by Antifa and other activists after driving the police and National Guard out following a violent confrontation Sunday night.

'We’ll be here as long as it takes so bring a tent and a blanket,' he added.  
It followed astonishing developments in Seattle, where protesters have established what they call the 'Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,' or CHAZ, setting up barricades and armed checkpoints and declaring that police are not allowed inside the zone. 
The zone, which includes apartment buildings and businesses, also contains the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct, which cops abandoned on Monday after receiving a threat that the station would be overrun and burned down. On Wednesday, President Trump demanded that Seattle city officials regain control of CHAZ - to which Simone tweeted on Thursday: "The President really put a hit on my head," adding "I'm not a Terrorist Warlord. Quit spreading that false narrative. The world has NEVER been ready for a strong black man."

UCLA Prof Suspended, Under Police Protection After Refusing To Exempt Black Students From Final Exam

I heard of this from my sons, when in college. Black kids didn't have to take mid terms or finals, and even if dumb as a post and never showed up for class, they always got As. Which means they were all getting degrees and instant jobs once they graduated.

Gordon Klein, an accounting professor in the Anderson School of Business has taught at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for almost 40 years. 
He is now suspended and under police protection in his home. 
The reason?

Klein refused to exempt black students from his final exam and sent a pointed rebuttal to students asking for the “no harm” exam. Parts of the response was certainly mocking in tone, more so than I would have considered appropriate.  The school has launched a formal discrimination investigation.
However, the suspension, investigation, and death threats against Klein reinforce the fear of many in the academy of a rising orthodoxy on campus and a lack of support for faculty involved in controversies.
According to Inside Higher Ed, a group of students asked Klein for a “no-harm” final exam that could only benefit students’ grades as well as shortened exams and extended deadlines.  They cited recent “traumas, we have been placed in a position where we much choose between actively supporting our black classmates or focusing on finishing up our spring quarter . . . We believe that remaining neutral in times of injustice brings power to the oppressor and therefore staying silent is not an option.”  They specifically noted that this was not “a joint effort to get finals canceled for non-black students”  “but rather an ask that you exercise compassion and leniency with black students in our major.”
Klein wrote back to one student that he was being asked to make a distinction that he could not possibly make. This is the entirety of the message:

Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota.
Do you know the names of the classmates that are black? How can I identify them since we’ve been having online classes only? Are there any students that may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian? What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half? Also, do you have any idea if any students are from Minneapolis?
I assume that they probably are especially devastated as well.
I am thinking that a white student from there might be possibly even more devastated by this, especially because some might think that they’re racist even if they are not.
My TA is from Minneapolis, so if you don’t know, I can probably ask her. Can you guide me on how you think I should achieve a “no-harm” outcome since our sole course grade is from a final exam only? One last thing strikes me:
Remember that MLK famously said that people should not be evaluated based on the “color of their skin.” Do you think that your request would run afoul of MLK’s admonition?

The controversy led to immediate demands for the professor to be fired. 
Thousands have signed a petition that declares Klein must be fired for his “extremely insensitive, dismissive, and woefully racist response” and “blatant lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate his students.”


UCLA has launched an investigation that could lead to such termination and issued a statement that “We apologize to the student who received it and to all those who have been as upset and offended by it as we are ourselves.” 
It has also agreed to extend all exams, presumably for all students.  I think that the extension of the time was a good idea for the school as a whole and I can certainly understand the school objecting to the tone of the response at a time of great unrest and trauma in our society.  However, the email was a poorly crafted effort by Klein to object to what he viewed as an unworkable, race-based system of accommodation.  One can certainly disagree with those objections, but the principle of academic freedom is to allow such views to be stated without fear of termination.
UCLA is also dealing with another demand for termination after Political science lecturer W. Ajax Peris, read aloud MLK’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” which includes the n-word. He also showed a documentary to the class in which lynching was discussed.  This might have been inappropriate in Klein’s accounting case but Peris was teaching the history of racism.  Students demanded that he stop the discussion but he apologized for any discomfort and continued his lecture.
The Political Science Department condemned Peris and  referred Peris to UCLA’s Discrimination Prevention Office for an investigation. UCLA will host a town hall for students in Peris’ classes to discuss the “controversy.” While Peris has apologized in a writing and video, students are demanding his firing.
Such actions are applauded by many faculty who have supported the increasing limits on free speech and academic freedom on campus. There has been a startling erosion of such protections for those with opposing views at universities and colleges.  Many faculty are intimidated by the response in these controversies and fear that supporting academic freedom or free speech will result in their being labeled racist or lacking of empathy. In three decades of teaching, I have never seen the level of intolerance for free speech that we are seeing across the country.  As I noted, there are valid objections to raise in these incidents, but the response of universities is clearly designed to send a message to other academics that they cannot expect the protections of the universities in such controversies.

In one of the starkest examples of how mob rule has taken over the Land of the Free, #defundthepolice is now rapidly moving from being just a hash tag, to becoming a reality.

9 out of the 12 members of the Minneapolis City Council (which is a veto-proof majority that can easily override the city’s boy mayor) pledged yesterday to completely dismantle its police department.

Their reasoning?

According to the city council president, being able to call the police “comes from a place of privilege,” and therefore must be abolished.

Actually, genius, being able to call the police comes from tax revenue… as in the money that voters pay in exchange for public services.

It’s not just Minneapolis. Across the country, cries to defund the police are growing… even though there’s no consensus about what the term even means.

For some, it means demilitarization of the police. For others, it means reducing police responsibilities, and reducing their funding accordingly. For others, it means abolishing the police altogether.

But even without a clear idea of what the concept means, the Twitter mob has already pressured politicians into taking action.

In Los Angeles, Mayor Eric Garcetti bowed to the pressure and pledged to slash $150 million from the police budget.

The New York City’s politburo, Comrade de Blasio, also promised to make substantial cuts to the NYPD budget.

Other local governments across the country, from San Francisco to Philadelphia to Baltimore, are considering similar moves.

And Congress has a stack of bills that it’s furiously moving forward.
This is all truly remarkable. There’s suppose to be system in place– I read about it somewhere, I think it’s called ‘democracy’ or something like that– where people vote for leaders who are supposed to represent their interests when making public policy decisions.

But this is mob rule, plain and simple. The Twitter mob decides public policy now. Not politicians. And certainly not voters.

And if you don’t grovel and capitulate to the mob, even when there’s no consensus on what the mob actually wants, then you get vilified by their rage.
It’s like #metoo all over again.

In late 2017, the actor Matt Damon, who committed an egregious crime of being born with a penis, told an interviewer that there’s a “spectrum” of sexual harassment:
“There’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt, and rape… or child molestation.  Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated.”
Seems reasonable. Damon had an opinion… and his opinion was that molesting a child was worse than inappropriately patting a woman on the butt.

But reason didn’t matter to the Twitter mob, who immediately blasted Damon as a hetero-normative patriarchal misogynist. He later apologized, apparently for being logical, and groveled to the mob for forgiveness.

Today’s mob is far more hostile.

When Minneapolis’ boy mayor Jacob Frey rejected calls to abolish the police over the weekend, he was forced into a literal walk of shame when the marauding crowd screamed “GET THE F^#K OUT OF HERE” and waived their middle fingers in unison.

Frey left the stage and sullenly retreated through the crowd while the masses chanted, “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

Then there’s Drew Brees, one of the NFL’s all-time great quarterbacks whose entire career has been one of professionalism, integrity, and humble service.

Brees has given millions of dollars to his local community, including a $5 million pledge this year alone to help put food on the table for struggling families.

But Brees stated in an interview recently that he didn’t agree with anyone disrespecting the American flag– in reference to other NFL players who kneel during the national anthem to protest police brutality.

The anthem kneeling is a contentious issue for some. And it would have been reasonable for the other side to explain to Brees that their intent is to protest injustice, not disrespect the flag.
But instead the Twitter mob unleashed holy hell, calling Brees a “white supremacist” and even making death threats against his family.

And that’s what you get with a mob.

Civil discourse is an impossibility. You cannot have a respectful exchange of ideas or a discussion of values.
You can’t even say, “I completely agree that terrible injustice needs to change immediately. Let’s have a rational conversation about sensible, effective solutions.”

If you don’t grovel to the Twitter mob, even when there’s no consensus what the mob wants, you’re a white supremacist who deserves to be dead.

To be clear, I’m in strong support of the fundamental ideas behind these movements.

The culture of rape and sexual abuse that persisted for so long before #metoo needed to end. And the injustices that are front and center right now need to end. I imagine good people everywhere are in favor of human rights.

But I’m not writing about the movements, or social justice, or peaceful protests. This is about the mob mentality that has quickly taken over the US, and much of the world.

History shows that well-organized, peaceful protests can be very powerful… but also that nothing good ever comes from an angry, emotional mob.

Real progress can only take place when people are able to have calm, rational discussions about ideas and solutions.

The reality is that #defundthepolice is going to happen regardless. After Covid, most cities are completely bankrupt and will be forced to slash their budgets due to lack of tax revenue.

But #defundthepolice may be just the beginning of our new form of government– rule by Twitter mob.

 A particularly disturbing example of this phenomenon has just emerged out of Chicago, where a recording from a meeting between Mayor Lori "Beetlejuice" Lightfoot and the City Council, where one of the mayor's chief critics, Raymond Lopez, a fellow  Democrat who was the first openly gay Mexican-American elected to public office in Illinois, accused her of not doing enough to quell the violence.
In the recording, which is included below, Beetlejuice can be heard telling Lopez that she believed his eyewitness reports about "gangbangers with AK47s waiting to settle some scores" were "100% full of shit".
"Well f**k you then," Beetlejuice spat back as the two launched into a rancorous back and forth.

“When downtown is in lockdown, our neighborhoods are next, and our failure to fully get ready for what’s going on in the neighborhoods, we’re seeing this destruction, and we’re thinking that it’s going to somehow end tonight. We have seen where, in other cities, this has gone on for days; and we need to come up with a better plan for days, at least for the next five days, to try and stabilize our communities,” Lopez said.
The aldermen said parts of the Back of the Yards and Brighton Park neighborhoods in his ward had become “a virtual warzone."
"We can’t expect our police, and I don’t fault them at all, to be able to control this," he said. "Half our neighborhoods are already obliterated. It’s too late."
Lopez said he feared looters would eventually start targeting homes after ransacking businesses throughout the city.
“Once they’re done looting and rioting and whatever’s going to happen tonight, God help us, what happens when they start going after residents? Going into the neighborhoods? Once they start trying to break down people’s doors, if they think they’ve got something,” he said.
“We know that people are here to antagonize and incite, and you’ve got them all pumped tonight, today. They’re not going to go to bed at 8 o’clock. They’re going to turn their focus on the neighborhoods. I’ve got gang-bangers with AK-47s walking around right now, just waiting to settle some scores. What are we going to do, and what do we tell residents, other than good faith people stand up? It’s not going to be enough,” Lopez added.
When Lopez finished talking on the conference call, Lightfoot declined to respond, and tried to move on to another alderman, but Lopez demanded an answer.
“It’s not something you ignore. This is a question that I have,” Lopez said.
That’s when the call turned profane.
“I think you’re 100% full of s***, is what I think,” Lightfoot said.
Lopez was infuriated.
"F*** you, then. Who are you to tell me I’m full of s***?” he said. “Maybe you should come out and see what’s going on."
The mayor vehemently denied protecting downtown at the expense of the neighborhoods.
"If you think we’re not ready, and we stood by and let the neighborhoods go up, there’s nothing intelligent that I could say to you,” she said. “That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I understand you want to preen."
"Mayor, you need to check your f***ing attitude. That’s what you need to do," Lopez shot back.
At that point, several other aldermen interjected in an effort to calm nerves, with one alderman telling Lopez, "Ray, cut it out, please. Calm down, please."
It's obvious that Lopez, who harbors ambitions to replace Lightfoot in the mayor's chair in the not-too-distant future, leaked the clip. But as he told CBS in an interview, many small businesses in his ward won't be reopening, largely thanks to the violence.

No matter how highly disciplined and well trained a police force, even if 99.9% of all arrests of black men by white police are done exactly by the book, you will still get 0.1% where anything and everything that can go wrong does.  You can't beat the law of averages, it's just going to happen.  If of that 0.1% of bad arrests 10%  of them are recorded and make the nightly news, that's going to be 1 video on the nightly news every single week of police brutality.  In a nation of over 300 million people there will be a sufficient volume of arrests for 1 video recorded cluster**** of the week. The MSM simply were obeying their Chicom/Democrat masters who told them, we need to start a race war.  Then the MSM simply played up the bad video that had happened for that particular week.

Using the exact same math, the MSM could probably find 1 video per week of a black man murdering a white man and play them over and over in a continuous loop until they finally started a white on black race war.  That's just the way propaganda works. 

 Antifa and BLM are all feminist sponsored and supporting organizations, they claim to be concerned that black men are dying.  Here's the problem, according to the leading feminist theoreticians, all men are rapists.  All men are patriarchal oppressors of women, dead beat dads all need to go to jail, 90% of the male population need to be culled off the earths surface.  So by their own words, according to feminists, George Floyd was a rapist and a patriarchal oppressor of women.  You cannot cull all the white and Asian men off the surface of the earth, and still make that 90% cull quota without killing at 50% of all black men.

 As for jailing dead beat dads, the state pays women benefits to divorce their husbands and become single moms. Then it gets the police to arrest the men who can't make exorbitant court ordered alimony and child support payments. Fully one third of all prison inmates are so called dead beat dads, they end up doing crimes in a vain attempt to fulfill support obligations in order to stay out of prison.  Eventually they are driven to suicide by this process, often suicide by cop.  How do the good feminists at BLM and Antifa think the cops end up killing black men in the first place.  This has basically eradicated two parent households in the black community.  85% of all prison inmates are the children of fatherless households. 

 Just in case the feminists at Antifa and BLM think it's just a few bad apples in 3rd wave feminism that are responsible for the genocide of black men, sorry, it was the 2nd wave feminists responsible for pushing all the changes to family court law in the last 60 years.  It gets worse though, even 1st wave feminists were all in favor of lynching black men.

Snapchat Will No Longer Promote Trump's Account revealing they too are digital fascists

Narcissismchat - whose employees were busted spying on users sexting each other - has joined the digital fascism of the left, announcing that they will no longer promoting President Trump's account on its "Discover" page of curated content, according to Axios - which couldn't make their disdain for Trump any more transparent if they tried.

"We will not amplify voices who incite racial violence and injustice by giving them free promotion on Discover," the company said on Wednesday, while chewing on a bag of Floyd dicks.

The 'meddling' move comes after Trump tweeted comments which were interpreted by some to glorify violence during protests over racial injustice.

Criminal Gangs Who Ransacked NYC Arrived In Chauffeured Cars, Used Power Tools, Witnesses Say

Mayor de Blasio and several high-ranking NYPD officials have already spoken out about the organized gangs of criminals who appear to be responsible for most of the looting in NYC. Now, a group of cops investigating the highly-coordinated crimes are telling local TV stations that they have evidence many of the looters were chauffeured to the "jobs" and brought large arsenals of power tools to help them break in.

Witnesses who spoke to these officers claimed they saw looters who showed up in separate vehicles work together in large groups to facilitate the looting that broke out in retail areas in Soho, Fifth Ave. and elsewhere.
According to ABC 6, one of the numerous eyewitness reports received by police came from Carla Murphy, who lives in Chelsea.
Murphy, in an interview Tuesday, said she started hearing commotion from mobs of people along her street and neighboring streets about 10:30 p.m. Monday night. She first watched from her building and then went down to the street and saw organized groups of people working together to break in to store after store in the West Side neighborhood.
"Cars would drive up, let off the looters, unload power tools and suitcases and then the cars would drive away," she said. "Then the cars would come back pick them up and then drive off to the next spot. They seemed to know exactly where they were going. Some of the people were local, but there were a lot of out-of-towners."
Murphy said she saw license plates from New Jersey and Pennsylvania and drivers had not even tried to hide their tags.
After calling 911 and not getting through, Murphy visited the 10th Precinct in Manhattan, where she says dispatchers mostly brushed her off. Police didn't arrive on scene until hours later.
But then again, as Murphy said, many of the looters didn't even bother to hide their tags. Unless they used exclusively stolen tags and managed to make it all the way into the city without being stopped, detectives will likely be rounding up many of those responsible for the looting and the mass property theft, using evidence captured by the hundreds of thousands of cameras recording movements in the city. NYPD detectives are trying to collect evidence from as many looted stores "as possible".Police suspect many of the lootings involved a combination of anarchist agitators as well as gang members and other career criminals.
Officers who spoke with ABC 6 said the crews who "worked" the lootings clearly had a sophisticated communications system relying on text messages, messaging apps and lookouts.

Twitter was facilitating and coordinating rioters and looters on their platform. They should be criminally charged. If they can monitor the speech of conservatives they most certainly do it for criminals..... Oh, I forgot, they are a bunch of traitorous criminals.
