Uzbekistan ... giant explosion caused by detonating electric car batteries.

A BOY of 15 has been killed in a giant explosion feared to have been triggered by detonating electric car batteries.

At least 163 were also injured following the huge blast in a customs warehouse near Tashkent Airport in Uzbekistan in the early hours, which was felt up to 20 miles away.

how many times will we have to say “these things are SIMPLY UNSAFE?” sadly, probably a great many. not only that, but green tech “ …” where do you think the electricity used to charge the batteries in these “miracle” cars COMES from? coal fired power. solar and wind farms are both not actually doing anything, wind turbines have to adjust themselves constantly, actually draw power from the grid to do so, and do not generate much of anything. solar panels have to typically be turned off when the ambient temperature goes above 85 deg F. so what use is that, for the most part? also they cannot be used at a certain cold point, either.
