How's that adrenochrome treatin' ye Father?
In 2005, about spring time, I was taken one night to the Vatican city, to the Pope's quarters. This was a few days after the pope at that time passed away.
There is a room there, with a bed on one end, covered in blood red silk. In fact, the floor, walls, everything was covered in this same material, perfect color of mottled spilled blood as it pools. On one side, were these built in drawers, rather large, 3 or 4 per stack, I could see 2 of these stacks. In comes the pope. Two attendants start to disrobe the man. Then he selects a drawer.
The drawer opened and curled up inside was a very small young boy about 7/8 years old, naked and asleep. Fortunately, I was taken from there as the attendants removed the clothing of the new pope on a rope.
I have never forgotten that night. Nor will I, ever.
