On May 30, 2024, our ADT.com sales rep told us that we needed 15 to 20 mbps upload speed for our security surveillance system.
So on May 31, 2024, I ordered an AT&T Internet Air (AT&T All-Fi internet hub) for our residential / home.
On June 6, 2024, the ADT.com Pre-Install team failed to show up as scheduled between 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM to install our Google.com cameras. Immediately, I contacted our sales rep and later on chatted and spoke with Live agents to which ADT.com was VERY kind enough to make adjustments! Yay!
On June 7, 2024, I did some tests for internet and speed and I found out that there is little difference in the "upload" but a HUGE difference in the "download" to which a Live agent told me that was their "feature."
In this video, I compiled screenshots from two videos that I took before and after returning the "All-Fi" Hub. I produced this video using the Apple iMovie and discovered for the first time and incorporated some nifty sound Effects from the Audio & Video section into my short video! That's how slow I-AM!
For now, we will stick to our copper wiring setup despite the ongoing fuzzy and blurry video quality and other freezes, glitches and pauses!
In my quest for the ideal, all-for-one network connectivity, I learned how microwave ovens could interfere with the satellite dish signals. So despite satellite dishes NOT emitting EMF radiation, there probably could be quality issues, too.
From DSL, coaxial cables and copper wires, satellite dishes to 5G networking devices and beyond, I'm still hopeful for health-conscious solutions, which is probably just to stop using these tech toys once and for all.
That's all. Thanks for visiting! 20240609-1246 PM PDT.
