This is the picture of the "damages", yup, all they would have to do is
fight it in court. This isn't 15,000 dollars in damages, and on a road
this is pretty much normal. If there was a case to argue that you don't
get to paint shit on roads and then sue people for driving on it this is
the case, they are unironically trying to claim that this is 15,000
dollars in damages.
Their road painting was literally lit on fire
earlier in the year btw, so there's precedent for other people also
destroying their faggot shit. Any decent lawyer would make the case that
you don't get to put shit on the road and the city has already blown
15,000 dollars restoring the painting once, now they're doing it again.
It's not even private property, it's public property. This isn't some

city spending 15,000 dollars multiple times to babysit a road painting
that residents don't even want there.
