This is nothing. In 2006, they sent a honey pot after me (Brenda) who wore these glasses. We were at a star bucks. She set them down. That was her mistake. I picked them up and put them on. They were just simple glass, no magnification. They were expensive eye glasses.
And sure enough, in the scroll work around the rim, on the right side was a tiny little lens, pinhole size, and on the parts that go over the ears, were microphones, one on each side.
She was clearly pissed off; more at herself for making a dunderhead move then me.
She had no answer to my obvious next questions. She just sat there glaring out the window.
Spy glasses have been around since the 1980s, CIA tech. So this is nothing new. But, for whacked up droids who will get EXTRA PRIVILEGES, they can start spying with off the shelf stuff.
