blacks from a strong tie to broader American culture—their Christian
faith.

Today Karenga enjoys a sinecure as the Chair of the Africana Studies department at California State University, Long Beach.

The hilarity of all of this is of course the idea that Vice President
Kamala Devi Harris ever celebrated Kwanzaa. As the great @AnnCoulter
