Rep. Mark Meadows questioned “what
on earth was the point of a taxpayer funded special counsel if we’re
going to demand every witness testify again - after the case is already
closed?”
Let me answer that for you, Mark. The (dimocrat) point of the taxpayer funded special counsel was to manufacture charges to use to impeach Trump and get the 2016 election nullified. Mueller did not deliver after trying really hard for 2 years to come up with something that would stick. So now (dimocrat) congress wants to do the investigation again after lowering the bar for 'evidence' to some level that will allow some kind of impeachable offense. If that doesn't stick, then at least they can hobble Trump until the 2020 election with ongoing investigations and subpoenas and whatnot... when they plan on sweeping the house, senate, presidency and all the federal courts and take over the country. Their dreams of controlling everyone else so that they can personally be comfortable and rich is animating them.
You know, history is making more and more sense to me as the libs come out of the closet and say what they really think. The party of slavery and Jim Crow and segregation wants to be benevolent benefactors of the unwashed slaves, dictating policy and doling out trinkets to keep their sheep docile. In return, the sheep produce the funds and votes to keep the benefactors in power and wealth. It's really a very insidious and racist platform that's all papered over and hidden by smooth salesmanship and twisting the meaning of words. Their whole platform and reason for living is a giant lie -- that very last thing they want in the world is independent thinking and entreprenurial citizens who don't want to be controlled.
Here's something else I've noticed: Usually when a liberal is accusing someone of doing or thinking something, they are actually projecting their own "sin" onto someone else in order to distract from their own guilt. It's actually pretty obvious to see if you know this ahead of time. Probably the best comeback for whenever a liberal/leftist accuses you of something is just the old schoolground "I'm rubber, you're glue" defense, which I'm sure would infuriate them because you are calling out their own guilt and in a childish way that they can understand.
The Democrats have had some worthy ideas in the past that
maybe Conservatives just don't consider. But they have recently in the
last 10-20 years given themselves permission to abandon decorum and
cooperation in pursuit of their ultimate goal of complete federal
government control of all citizen behavior. Not sure yet why it's come
to a head lately, but must have something to do with the takeover of the
education, media and judicial systems. I guess they feel like they
finally have enough power to override opposition to the plan - either
that or they are just really frustrated that they cannot get a majority
