Bill Hicks no more now Alex mask Jones. Just like the Sniffy. I saw a video in 1998, took a long time to download with dial up, but it was Alex Jones at a party and EVERYONE was calling him Bill. I wrote him off at that point.
Bill had and has, anger issues. His standup in the 80s was just angry at life, himself, and every soul he met. He was completely a jerk of jerks. The two shows I saw were just painful and awkward to watch. I could never understand why he thought he was funny and how in the heck did anyone ever think to put him on a stage. But, he put down whitey all the time, just like another dead famous comic. You know who I mean.
George Carlin. Not funny, just full of contempt. That was Bill Hicks thing, but with RAGE. It was THAT off putting. I remember thinking, this is a guy who is going to jump out of window one day or shoot himself.
Bill Hicks "dies" and a year later, Alex Jones appears out of nowhere, with a show and full funding and access to the minds of the American people.
