It's spiritual, social, standing among Indians. As long as you "win", anything goes - lying, cheating, stealing, killing, raping. Anything goes. It's their honor system of value. Much like the American Indians had with scalps. The more scalps that hung from your Lodge Pole, the more value and Greater standing you had in the tribe. Same thing.
People in America and Canada better learn about IZZAT because it is THE operating principle that guides all Indian conduct.
