Sears was deliverately killed off because anything you bought there was made in America, had excellent warranties, and was QUALITY. It was a bit more money than other places, but everything bought there was made to last or they didn't sell it. They killed it and other chains like it, like Kmart and Montgomery Wards, to bring in the slops from China at Wally world. You couldn't have a good thing, when all you were going to give the world was garbage, after 1995.
