Here comes Bezos/Amazon with this not space CGI flight that didn't actually happen - Bezo said it didn't, it was ALL staged. On TV.
I tried to find a NON DemonAI picture of this truck, but couldn't yet. What? No models actually built yet?
The Bezos - Elon - new EV truck The Slate, an anagram for TESLA.
So, Bezos is supposed to take the Elon's place for space flight and EV death wagons? Say it ain't so.
Same week, announces EV truck and a failed CGI flight. Sounds about right.
- It has no stereo or AC. Try selling something like that west of the Rockies in Summertime.
- No AC is a deal breaker when you live in a place that has 9 months of Summer.
- No radio or even places for speakers.
- 100% digital, which means it can be remotely driven and hacked, you can be locked in when the lithium detonates, etc. It spies on you and your surroundings, constantly phoning all that data, back to CIA/Amazon.
- 140 mile range. Meaning it's useless in the extreme for anything. I can go 500 miles on a tank of gas in my 89 Toyota truck. Refill takes about 5 minutes, then it's off for another 500 miles.
- Has no towing kit. Because as people learned with the Cybersuck, EV trucks can't tow anything without going dead in under 80 miles. Plenty of youtube videos of just that happening.
- This truck is just another EV brick, waiting to happen.
- The original promised cost for the Tesla Cybersuck was $39,900 for the base single-motor rear-wheel drive model2. However, the actual pricing is higher, with the cheapest variant now costing over $60,000. The dual-motor version was originally supposed to start at $49,900, and the tri-motor version at $69,9003. But even those were lies, because it turns out the cost is between 80k and 120k, for plastic junk that can't do anything reliablly except brick itself in snow, water, inclines, or carrying anything in the so called "truck" bed.
- Is this the same. Yesterday it was 20k and today it's up to 25k. That's a sneaky Elon marketing move. Promise one thing and then creep price until delivery that ends up being twice the promised cost.
- the Slate is going to be made of the same concretized plastic Cybersucks are made out of. Wheels that shatter when under torque stress, lots of glue because composites don't drill well and shatter when you try to drill holes in the material. It's basically a death ark too. Which fits. The anagram name tells it.
So, you want to wear Elon's mantle for awhile.
Okay then.
Cannot tow or be towed, because the back falls off every time. It's all glued, no bolts. |
That 150 mile range is a lie. Put people in the seats and load up the bed and like all the other EV trucks, drops below 80 miles. Until you spend 6 hours charging it again. 4000 pounds is a great deal of weight for a plastic composite truck. |
